Vanderbilt Hotline:

First off, big props to Anonymous for giving us his/her top 10 list of overlooked bands/artists/albums. Save one, I've never heard of any of the people he/she has laid out. And, while I have no plan to educate myself, I appreciate that they are there all the same. If you have an overlooked band/album/song that you'd like to share, comment here. If I've actually heard of said overlooked music, your street cred will surely take a hit.

Vanderbilt baseball travels to Lexington for a 3 game set against the Wildcats starting tonight at 6:30 Eastern, 5:30 in the heartland. This game will be shown on Fox College Sports. While this game is unavailable in the DC area, Sunday's 1pm (Eastern) series finale will be on at 1pm on Comcast cable, channel 262 (Fox Sports Atlantic). Brett Hait has a great series primer in today's Nashville City Paper. Vanderbilt ace David Price will kick things off tonight, and Mo Patton writes about how David's predilection for "Complete games are completing [his] game" in today's Tennessean. Tim Corbin's boys are #1 in Bryan Smith's College Baseball Notebook of the "Omaha Eight" on SionCampus.com.

The Vanderbilt bowling team earned a 3rd seed in the NCAA Championships behind Josie Earnest's perfect game. Josie's 300 was only the "second perfect Baker game in the Women's Bowling Tournament history" according to the run-down in VuCommodores.com. I have no idea what a Baker game is, what I do know is that the lady pinnsters start double-elimination play today. The Championship Game will be rolled on Saturday at 2 on ESPNU and replayed at 3pm on Sunday on the Deuce, ESPN2.

The #17 women's tennis team concludes their regular season at Kentucky on Saturday, with the men wrapping up at home against the Wildcats.

FFF celebrates the big 24 tonight, newly engaged JPC rocks out for making it to 27 on Saturday, and Bobby enjoys a new Sopranos and Entourage on Sunday.

FFF doesn't like sports therefore he won't see the birthday wishes on the sports line.
