MLB Update: Sowers goes 7 Deep In a No-Decision

Commie baseball alum Jeremy Sowers got the start last night for the Cleveland Indians against the Southern California's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim's Angels in Milwaukee thanks to feet (yes, I said FEET) of snow covering Jacobs field. He pitched seven strong innings scattering six hits and allowing one earned run in a no-decision. Due to the weather, he's only appeared in two games, but in those two games, opposing hitters are only batting .159 against him and he has a 2.08 ERA.

You'll have a chance to see Sowers in action Wednesday, April 18th. He's currently penciled in for the start against Bobby's Yankees. The game is at 7:05 and will be televised on ESPN2. Thanks to Chad for info on the start.

Some additional week-old love for Sowers. Always great to see VU people do well.
