Vanderbilt Hotline: Another Crazy Day...

Sorry VSL readers, but it's another crazy day for Bobby. As such, this will have to be short. Vanderbilt baseball hosts Florida for a 3 game set in Nashville this weekend. Mo Patton and Brett Hait take turns lauding Vanderbilt outfielder Dominic de la Osa in their respective publications.

Women's coach Melanie Balcomb didn't want a raise to stay in Nashville, just more attention to be paid to the marketing of her Lady Commies. According to Mike Organ in the Tennessean, she will get her wish. Coach Balcomb will also be in attendance at this year's graduation, shelving a planned vacation to see her 3 seniors graduate.

I've got nothing else. Headed to the Big City to watch the Yankees try and right the ship again the BoSox at the Stadium. I will also be following the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS' draft board as the Mangenius helps Gang Green take another step towards the Super Bowl. Jets in the Super Bowl, 2009...you heard it here first.

so what's the bet? i'll bet you a tab at Porter's the JETS not only won't win the super bowl in 09, they won't even make it.

The bet is about who gets there first, Nationals (World Series) or Jets (Super Bowl). A tab at Porter's sounds fair though.

I bet that an LA football team wins the Superbowl before the Jets do. The usual bet, Mortimer.
