Breaking News: Gunner Kiel Verbally Commits to LSU
This just came into the VSL Newsroom based on a report from 102.5 The Game in Nashville. This is obviously disappointing news, but it goes to show how much things have changed in a year when Commodore fans were waiting with bated breathe to see if a 5-star QB would choose Vanderbilt over Notre Dame and LSU.

This is disappointing, but not unexpected.
Just as with the B'ball player from Clarksville, being in the running means nothing. This is not horseshoes or nuclear weapons...close does not count.
When James Franklin signs a few of these kids.... and, if the powers that be can keep him happy, I am confident he will.... then we truly can say the program has arrived.
