VSLNation, We're Halfway Home on Supporting the NCC

And we've got 29 days to get the rest of the way. Right now, 20 of you have joined the National Commodore Club, contributing $3,881. That is awesome and we are very grateful. When we started our campaign, we wanted to add 40 new members and raised $5,000. Our $5,000 goal is well within reach, and it very much our hope to shatter that figure. With respect to our membership goal, we've halfway there, and still have work left to do until the May 31 deadline. 20 of you have contributed so far, but we need at least 20 new NCCers to reach our initial goal.

There are a lot of great reasons to support the NCC. But you already know that. Beyond helping Vanderbilt sports continue to succeed, giving to the NCC means stuff for you. Want better basketball tickets? How about football tickets? Want to spend Memorial Day Weekend at the SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover? If the Commodores finally make it to Omaha, don't you want priority in getting seats? All these opportunities are made much easier by being a member of the NCC. And, as the benefit levels show, a little can go a long way.

We at VSL have been working with the NCC's great staff to try and give our readers who join the National Commodore Club special opportunities. Exactly what those opportunities will be have yet to be determined, but in the meantime, if there are things you'd like to do, events you'd like to see, stuff you'd like to get, let us know and we'll see what we can do.

We've got 29 days left. If you're anything like the VSL Braintrust, you probably like to wait until the last minute to do things. To use a poor sports analogy, this is the 4th quarter and it's time to make it happen. Please consider contributing to the National Commodore Club today, and when you do, put "VSL" or "Vanderbilt Sports Line" in the special comments section.

Thank you to all our readers who have joined the NCC; thank you to those who will join the NCC in the next few days; and thank you to all the people who come to this site even though we try and hit you up for money. We do it, because we love the Commodores.
