Commodores Beat Hogs, Headed to SEC Championship

Grayson Garvin continues to amaze.  Today he notched his school-record-tying 12th win and became the first pitcher in SEC history to win 10 SEC games in a season.  Despite giving up 9 hits, Garvin surrendered only two runs in 6.1 innings against a strong Arkansas lineup.  The bullpen came in and finished the job, with four pitchers combining to shut the Razorbacks down in the last three innings as the Dores held onto a 3-2 lead to advance to the SEC Championship game.

Vanderbilt will face the winner of Georgia-Florida tomorrow at 1 pm CST.  Tune in to watch on ESPN2.  Love the momentum this team appears to be building right now.  Go Dores.
