Much of the discussion around Kentucky's supposed vulnerabilities has been misguided. People say the Wildcats can't win on the road, but their three road losses in the SEC came by a total of six points. People say they're too young, but the freshmen have actually been terrific. The older players are the ones who have been inconsistent, but they came to play against Tennessee on Tuesday night. Nor do I share the concerns about Kentucky's depth. Plenty of teams have gone deep into March playing six or seven guys. It's only a matter of time before the Wildcats break out, and I've got a feeling that time is coming fast.Seth, boobala, there are 2 teams playing tomorrow.

SI's Seth Davis Picks Kentucky; Ignores Vanderbilt Completely
I'm a big fan of Seth Davis, and think he does a great job covering college basketball. I also can't quibble with his analysis of Saturday's game (although I disagree with his prediction that the Commodores go down 78-73). Where I have a problem, is that no where in the body of his analysis does he mention the Commodores (or anything about the team):

Just beat them and VU will get respect. I see a good blow out by VU.
Not a blowout by either team. This one's going to be close. UK could really shred 2-3 zone.
ESPN's Weekend Watch didn't cover much about Vandy either.....
Mark Schlabach
Kentucky coach John Calipari had his players wearing boxing gloves and using a heavy bag last week to toughen them up. Calipari's work resulted in a 73-61 victory over Tennessee on Tuesday night. Now comes a tougher mental test for the Wildcats: winning at Vanderbilt's Memorial Gym on Saturday. UK had lost four games in a row at Vandy before John Wall saved them in a 58-56 victory in Nashville last season. Will these young Cats be tough enough to survive a potentially treacherous road trip?
No Mark Schlabach! They won't survive the treacherous road trip. There's your awnser. Go Dore.
ESPn and Seth Davis and Dick V are co-conspirators with the cheater Coach Cal.
