Conflicting Reports on Malzahn's Status with Vanderbilt

Twitter is blowing up with speculation on whether Gus Malzahn has accepted the position to become Vanderbilt's next Head Football Coach. SECsportsReport tweeted that Vanderbilt and Malzahn have verbally agreed to a $2.5 million dollar contract, while AuburnSports.com, citing unnamed sources, says the Auburn Offensive Coordinator plans to turns down the Vanderbilt job, if he hasn't already. Basically, we don't know anything more now than we did last night. However, if other Vanderbilt blogs can generate traffic by rehashing a story, why the hell wouldn't we?
