Here's the schedule. One of our readers thinks so, but I think I disagree. What do you think:

no way. and why the heck did we schedule mtsu in murfreesboro? that seems like a very dumb thing to do.

Because road games look good. I think the non-conf is pretty solid. It might not have the top teams (with the exception of possible games against West Virginia and UNC) but it has a ton of solid games like Davidson, St. Mary's, Mizzou. However, depending on how the Tip-off classic goes will go a long way not just in determining whether we are good or not but how tough our non-conf schedule is. Overall I like it.

i don't think mtsu looks that good and it's a trap game. i have no problems playing at missouri. good team, away team, looks good, etc. mtsu just looks like a crappy team on the road that we could lose to if we overlook them.

I'm not sure MTSU will be a trap game after last year's WKU debacle (although I see your point).

The reason Vandy plays at MTSU is because it was part of a 2-for-1 deal. MTSU played at Vandy the last 2 years.

Actually I think there are some dicey non-conf games, which is another way to say, "No" it's not too easy.

Do you take requests? How about a poll on whether Vandy gets to 20 wins during the regular season?

I'd vote no on that. I think the East is going to be much better this year, with maybe the exception of UK (who will still be solid just not #1 team in the country good). I'm officially afraid of UGA and UT's freshman from LONG ISLAND (Tobias Harris?) is supposed to be crazy good. Florida is returning all 5 starters and I have no confidence that Festus and Brad will be able to adequately replace Beal and AJ. I'm officially worried.

mtsu students will be gone for xmas..VU fans should easily outnumber the sparse number of mtsu towny hoops fans who show up.

This will be SWEET! Blowing them out in their own gym in front of a pro-VU crowd!!
