Where Will Vanderbilt Be Ranked When The Polls Are Released?

After losing to South Carolina yesterday, it seems likely that Vanderbilt will fall in the rankings?

This past week, Vanderbilt was 13 in the AP and 19 in the Coaches poll. I've got us 16.5 in AP (could go either way, but my gut is 17) and 22 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll.

What do you think?

Also, there is no doubt in my mind that Tennessee will surpass us in the AP.

more importantly, where do we sit in the ncaa seeding now? most seem to think a 5 seed. 4/5 - i hate. cbs has us as a 5 seed going up against michigan state in round 2. not pretty.....

i'd rather lose the first game in the sec tourney and be a 6. that seems to be where we flourish any way.

Everyone's comments regarding where Vandy's poll position are on track: 15-17.

I always thought a 3 seed was dependent on an appearance in the SEC Tourney Final. Vandy is set up well in this regard. I believe Vandy will face GA and then likely FL (at that point a fading FL). Quite frankly, give Vandy another shot at KY and I don't care where we end up in the Tourney.

I wouldn't blame pollsters for putting UTK over VU this week - they freakin' THROTTLED MSU on Saturday. It was awful.

Couldn't agree with Chuck Heston more. Give me a Vandy-Kentucky SEC Championship game, and I'm satisfied.
