This is why the loss on saturday was so costly. People have been waiting for Vanderbilt to slip up all year.

No doubt. At this point, what these voters think is significantly less important than what the Selection Committee thinks

SC loss eliminates any chance of a 2 seed in my opinion. Even if we were to win the SEC (and destroy UK) we still end up a 3-seed. I think we are in 3-5 seed territory. Something would have to go horribly wrong to end up a 6 seed.

Thoughts on the SEC tournament bracket? Am I alone in thinking that the quarterfinal game is likely to be harder than the semifinal game?

agree that uga could be a VERY ugly quarter final match up. what is the word on brad? any updates? will he play? goulbourne? help someone please!

we are in 4/5 range. a loss puts us at a 5/6 (i'd much rather be a 6) and yes i agree we can only get up to a 3 by running the table in the tourney. and even that's not enough if it doesn't mean beating UK. if someone else slips by them we are in no way getting a 3.

i really hate the 4/5 seed. this team is in trouble.
