2011 Football Recruiting Gets Into Full Swing This Weekend

CBJ and his staff welcome in a host of talented high school football players this weekend at the school's annual "Junior Day". As far as recruiting goes the staff has already given tons of offers out but this is one of the first times they get potential Commies onto campus. While the staff hasn't gotten a ton of early commits recently, according to the guys at Vandysports.com 10 of the commits from last year were at the previous Junior Day so this is very important for building the program. Also I could use some positive news regarding Vanderbilt sports so between this and hopefully a Sweep of UK this weekend in baseball I will be feeling much better about myself. If anything big like a commitment comes out of this weekend I'll pass it along. Later.

I say this w/ an unblemished record of Vandy loyalty, but the Vols have proven beyond question that they are the 2nd best men's basketball team in the SEC this year. While it's difficult to deal with, it is good for the SEC to have 2 teams left in the Tournament. The ACC has only 1. The Big East has only 1.
