VSL Hotline

Jeff Lockridge has an article in the Tennessean chronicling the "slow-start" of the no-huddle offense. Offensive Coordinator Ted Cain defends the system. Lockridge also has a "notebook," highlighting how the team will focus on the running game this season. There's some good news: Steven Stone might be ready as early as next weekend's Ole Miss game; and some bad news: Sean Richardson, Zac Stacy, and Jamie Graham sat out yesterday's practice. Worse news, Jamie is out due to a concussion, and because he is not yet symptom-free, he might not play in Saturday's game. The Nashville City Paper's David Boclair writes about how the team is looking for a more potent running attack.

Short but sweet today...off to the grind
