The annual McDonald's All-American teams were named last night and somehow John Jenkins name was not on it despite averaging over 40 points a game and 3,000 for his career. In all honesty I haven't been following the high school careers of many of these guys so I can't say who got in that didn't deserve it. Most people seem to be upset about the Wear Twins who are ranked by ESPN.com as the #13 and #14 ranked power forwards in this class (but are going to North Carolina who along with Duke seem to have everyone of their players named Burger Boys every year). Personally I was only concerned with the shooting guards who made it instead of him and none of them seem like reaches so I can't be that upset.
Anyway here is the full list (you might need to be an insider to see it): http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/tracker/mcdonaldsallamericans?&season=2009&pos=null
That being said Jenkins looks like a lock to win his 2nd Straight Mr. Basketball Award for the state of Tennessee though Casey Prather (#1 Vanderbilt priority for 2010) is also supposedly having a stellar year.

Finally in case everyone hasn't seen the scores from last night check out this one:

Apparently the Big Ten sucks offensively in more than just football. Yes I hate the Big Ten so what?
