VSL Hotline: Afternoon Edition

So we're a little late today due to OCI, but there are some articles that VSL Nation should be made aware of.

The Man We Love to Hait's got a story on how Vanderbilt is "Leaning on Talent and Depth of its Secondary" this week against Rice and from this point forward in today's Nashville City Paper.

Mo Patton has two stories in today's Tennessean that are definitely worth a read. Mo's first story addresses how Vanderbilt's meeting with Rice could pay dividends with recruiting in Texas. Mo's second piece deals with some welcomed news for the Football team: Wide Receivers practicing.

Vanderbilt and Rice are known as elite academic institutions, and ESPN.com's Chris Low writes the obligatory story on "doing it the right way." I wonder if they'll use "Find and Replace" in Word when Duke comes to town?

David Price was named by USA Today as the Minor League Player of the Year. Mel Antonen has the story.

Finally, Vanderbilt named its inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame Class. Mike Organ's got the story in today's Tennessean.
