VSL Hotline: Best Recruiting Class...Ever, Edition

Brad Tinsley made it official Friday night and committed to Vanderbilt. Brett Hait broke the story early Saturday Morning and posted the story on the Nashville City Paper site.

Mo Patton's got a piece in today's Tennessean on Tinsely's decision to attend Vanderbilt over Wake Forest.

Vanderbilt beat UT 9-2 yesterday to clinch a series win in Knoxville. With yesterday's Commodore win, combined with losses by Florida and Georgia, Vanderbilt moves into second-place in the SEC East at 13-9. Tim Corbin's team is .5 games up on Florida and 3 games back of Georiga for first place in the east. Vanderbilt will face Georgia next weekend in Nashville and travel to Gainesville to end the regular season. You can track today's game at VUCommodores.com.

The women's lacross team beat Johns Hopkins 10-7 yesterday, and will play Northwestern today at 1pm eastern for the ALC Championship. You can track that game at VUCommodores.com as well.

Finally, Jay Culter has been diagnosed with Type I diabeties according to the Associated Press.

Making it even more official, Tinsley signed his national letter of intent today. Rivals.com has us projected as a top 15 recruiting class.
