Is Tinsley Next?

Big ups to Scott the Demon for sending this into the VSL Newsroom.

According to OregonLive.com, the Ducks have informed Tinsley that he is not in their future plans.

UPDATE: Brett's got a post up on Nashville Ballerz about what a Tinsely signing would mean for Vanderbilt's recruiting class

I would make sense that Tinsley would turn from Oregon if they're signing other PG's. Tinsley has a realistic shot at starting here, moving Dolla to SG or bench duty.

I disagree. I think (if he comes) he will get 10-12 minutes a game as the 1 (while Beal is resting) and maybe another 5-10 minutes as the 2 with Beal bringing it up.

Interesting article on SI.com about Lance Goulbourne's decision to pursue basketball instead of tennis. Apparently LeBron James is cooler than James Blake. Food for thought I guess.

I would like to hear the reasoning of moving Beal to the bench, and not the 2 spot. I believe he's far too valuable an on court presence for this team to use as a reserve.

i'm finally excited about vandy basketball again. after the last part of the season and the sienna loss i was pretty disappointed. very disappointed. if we can sign up tinsley and have one of the best recruiting classes in the nation that would be great. plus we all know UK has some good recruits. i saw yesterday UT signed another five star and i'm sure UF is going to be much better next year. we need to continue stepping it up.
