There were a couple of articles and factoids I wanted to share with VSL Nation before today's day.
First, check out A Sea of Blue's Preview for today's game. Like Bobby, they think 70 points is the magic number.
Second, Mo's got a piece in today's Tennessean about Vanderbilt's recent success aganist the Wildcats.
Third, VUCommodores.com has some quotes from yesterday's SEC Coaches Conference-Call with the media that deserve some attention. Mainly, that right now Billy Gillispie is less than certain that Joe Crawford, Derrick Jesper, or Jodie Meeks will play.
Fourth, Vegas as Vanderbilt anywhere from a 1.5 to a 2 point favorite heading into Rupp, with the over-under split between 154 and 154.5.
Finally, there are some great games on today beyond the Vanderbilt/UK match-up. Since I have to go to a bar to watch today's game, I will be sure to have the Washington State @ UCLA game on a TV close by. Both teams are undefeated and play similar, tough-nosed basketball. If you get the game in your area, I'd line it up as your #2 game. Tip-off in this one is 2:30 eastern. And of course, the NFL Divisional Playoffs are tonight. My loathing of the Pats might be clouding my judgment, but I am taking the Jags tonight to shock the sports world. I anxiously await the Big Guy's ridicule, and your collective scorn if I am wrong.
