Tyler Rhoden's Favorite Movie is Gladiator
Tyler Rhoden's name is eerily similar to Tyler Durden.
His favorite singer is Garth Brooks, whose hits include "Standing Outside the Fire" and "Two of a Kind, Workin' on a Full House."
He was born in the year that gave George Orwell's seminal novel its namesake.
All these facts, taken individually, might seem purely coincidental. But consider: he's been outside looking in this whole season until his start against Arkansas; his win against the Hogs gave Vandy its second championship of the season and we're working on a third; as a Commie, he's obviously a huge fan of Orwellian, totalitarian state power but, like Durden, opposes the rampant consumerism that's strangling modern society.
With this guy taking the mound tonight against Michigan, how can anyone say Vanderbilt isn't the 2007 team of destiny???
On Tyler's command, unleash hell.
