We at VSL love talking Vanderbilt sports, but our threads, ideas, and arguments rarely include actual research. If we had actually done some research, we would have discovered that VSL's Northwestern/Vanderbilt football petition was moot since Vanderbilt and Northwestern will start a 4 game home and home series in 2010. That series will continue through 2014 with the teams taking a "break" to see other OOC teams in 2011. The series will open up and end in Nashville, with the 2012 and 2013 games taking place in Evanston. It's nice to see that DeFKA and VSL are on the same page, even if DeFKA got to that page way before VSL did.
