David Price threw 10 complete innings as Vanderbilt beat Ole Miss 3-2 in 10 innings in Nashville. Vanderbilt was down 2-1 in the 9th, but tied it up on Matt Meingaser's single to right driving in Shea Robin (what a great name by the way). Vanderbilt won in the 10th when Pedro Alvarez scored on Jonathan White's single to right.
Price struck out 14 Rebs, only giving up 2 earned runs, and scattering 4 hits and 2 walks over 10 (that's right, 10) complete. Vanderbilt is now 19-0. Their series against Ole Miss picks back up tomorrow at 2pm local time.

The only thing that could top David Price's 14 strikeouts and 4 hits in 10 innings is the incredibly clutch performance of Jonathan White.
White has great speed, so when Andrew Giobbi singled to right field in the bottom of the ninth, advancing Shea Robin to second, Tim Corbin sent him in to pinch run.
Fast forward to the bottom of the tenth: de la Osa strikes out to lead off, but Alvarez rips a double to left field. Flaherty lines out and Robin walks, bringing up the redshirt sophomore. Two outs, runner in scoring position, and White singles to left, preserving the undefeated streak and giving DP his fifth win of the season.
It's March 17 and Vandy is about to play for a spot in the Sweet 16, but if this kind of heroics from the kid who never plays can't get you excited about Commodore baseball, you better check your pulse.
