Agreed. Is it any surprise though? It makes tragically perfect sense that the same guy who goes into the stands at Auburn Hills to fight fans, tells his teammates to fellate him, and abuses his dogs also happens to be a woman beater. The saddest part is there was a three-year-old girl in the house during the incident.

Ron-Ron needs help. Perhaps a stay at the hoser hospice would be in order.

Good one Stanimal.

I'm throwing inGerald Henderson from Duke for breaking Phsyco T's (Tyler Hansborough) nose with a Combative foul with 14.5 seconds left.

I want Gerald Henderson's head on a stick!!! HOSER HOSER HOSER!!!

That was a bush league play of monstrous proportions and Coack K, a.k.a., Lord Of The Hosers, is trying to sweep it under the rug. I think Bill Simmons and Pat Forde already said what needs to be said for everyone here. So I'm going to stop typing before I throw my laptop out the window out of pure rage.

Am I out of line for nominating Hansborough's nose for Hoser of the Week?

Come off it, gentlemen. I don't like Duke any more than the next red-blooded American, and yes, Henderson did foul him too hard at that point in the game. But Forde ought to know better than to write what he wrote. Look at the tape: it's a hard foul, yeah, but it's not malicious. It happens in basketball. It's over, let's move on.

This does absolutely nothing to Duke's image/reputation that wasn't already there before. It's certainly no worse than Christian Laettner stomping on a UK player's chest. At least this was during live play. Are we honestly nominating Gerald Henderson for committing a foul that was too hard at a point in the game where it didn't matter? Or are we saying that he went in with the intent to break Psycho T's nose? I'd love to hear the logic behind that charge.

I still hate Duke, but Pat Forde and Bill Simmons are the real hosers in this mess.

Moving on to the other Carolina...

South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia needs some consideration. Because he's been arrested twice in the past week, he's no longer allowed to practice this spring. It sounds like it's been just stupid drunken things, but as the team leader he's sounding hoserish.

Team turmoil for any SEC team besides Vanderbilt is just fine with me, although if you remember our boy Jay had his own run-ins with the law.

Nonetheless, he didnt beat any women or his dog, so my vote goes to Ron-Ron.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh....SNAP.

Seamus you are fast approaching hoser-worthyness yourself for that post!

How dare you throw salt on an opportunity for every Duke hater on the planet to take totally free pot shots at the most evil basketball program in all the land??

The fact that you tried to ruin it for everyone is totally worthy of hoserness. God I hate that Bob Barker...

On a side note, reliable sources have told me that after the team trainers finally subdued Psycho T in the locker room, and blood was smeared allover his face and jersey...he asked, "how about taking my picture and putting it up in the weight room?"

That's hard core.

Considering that there are about five people who read this blog, I'd hardly say I'm "ruining" anything for "every Duke hater on the planet."

Nonetheless, I genuinely appreciate your believing that Vanderbilt Sports Line has such widespread influence. Maybe we should be getting paid for this...

If you think about it, if there are only 5 people who actually read this blog, four of them being contributors, then the fact that we have read our own work 10,700 times should have us slightly concerned. I know I am.

Ron Artest? I'm sure he could be the Hoser ANY week.

Stephen Garcia deserves some mentioning - mainly because of how much USC has been touted so far as being "one of the bigger surprises" of the upcoming 2007 season.

Gerald Henderson? Maybe. I know Coach K said it wasn't deliberate...but I happen to think it was. Wanna know how? I have two eyes.

Which brings me to my nomination - Coach K. I know in the post game presser Coach K said that "the outcome of the game was basically over when this happened.." Question - if the game was over, then why was Henderson in? The game wasn't over, dumbass, which is why Roy had Hansbrough in.

Did Coach K order the code red...? It's hard to say - all I know is that Duke got slapped in the face by UNC AGAIN, Coach K's program is down, and he's not owning it.

Coach K is your hoser, fellas.

It is now a lock, this weeks Hoser of the Week are the voters who elected Chris Lofton SEC Player of the Year over Derrick Byars. Congratulations, you join the ranks of such up-standing dudes as the adulterous Bill Belicheck, the “rain man” Pacman Jones, and South Beach resident Tim Hardaway.

This is still a Vanderbilt blog, and the supposed hosery of Coach K and the rest of Dook will always lose out.
