Jermaine Doster was the first player to notify the Vanderbilt coaching staff that he was officially committed to Vanderbilt. Jermaine, brother of the late Kwame Doster, let Coach Bobby Johnson and staff know at 8:oo CST. Doster is a 2-star recruit according to Rivals.com and was given a grade of 69 by Scouts, Inc and rated as the #163 best running back in this year's recruiting class.
Suwanee, Georgia native T.J. Greenhouse officially signed with the Commies at 8:10 CST. Greenhouse, a DT, got a grade of 69 from Scouts, Inc. and a 2 star rating from Rivals.
Kyle Fischer, a 3-star offensive lineman out of Columbia, South Carolina, signed with the West End boys at 8:20 EST. Kyle was given a grade of 75 from Scouts, Inc. and was listed as the 67th best offensive tackle among this year's recruiting class by Scouts.
Beaumont, Texas defensive tackle Rob Ashabranner signed with the Dores at 8:37 CST. Rob was given a grade of 71 by Scouts, Inc. and rated as the 75th best DT in this year's class. Rivals.com gave him a 2-star rating.
6'6 Tight End Austin Monahan signed with the Commies at 8:47 CST. Monahan came to Vanderbilt from Charlotte Country Day with a PG stopover at Phillips Academy Andover is a 2-star recruit on Rivals, and was given a grade of 40 by Scouts, Inc.

We also picked up 6'6.5", 290-lb. James Williams, an OL from Smyrna High School. He's gigantic and word on the street is he could be great at the collegiate level despite a lack of recruiting buzz about him. If you happen to look at the guys Florida picked up on their defensive line, you'll know why Williams's size and strength are most welcome in Nashville.
Also, keep an eye out for Chris Marve. I think he's going to be the real cream of the linebacker crop in the Class of '11.
