Congratulations Bill Belichick on being named the first ever "Hoser of the Week" by the best Vanderbilt Sports Blog on the web. Beyond Belichick's bi-polar relationship with Jets Head Coach (and class act) Eric Mangini, homeless Billy's involvement as a contributing third party in a New Jersey divorce further proves he is deserving of this honor.

Runner-up: Kevin Stallings
Starting now, we will ask you to send in ideas for the "Hoser of the Week" every Monday. Results will be posted the following day with case for why said person is the "Hoser of the Week." Just another great addition to the Best Vanderbilt Sports Blog on the Web.

While I have my reservations about this week's choice for Hoser of the Week, considering Bobby is simply venting his frustrations and is purely being a sore loser in the regard, I will say that if Belicheck didn't get it this week, he most certainly would have at some point in the future.
There is little doubt that Belicheck is a dick. A funny story was told on ESPN Radio the other day in which he participated in a celebrity golf tournament. Belicheck hit a perfect shot off the tee, straight down the middle of the fairway, and an observer near-by yelled to him "Hey Bill, is there anything you're not good at?"
Bill looked at him directly and uttered, "No" in simplicity. This is believe is an excellent representation of how big a dick Bill Belicheck really is.
And then there's the fact he wouldn't shake Mangini's hand either of the two regular season games and of course the fact that he brings a new definition to the term third wheel. Alas, he is a great coach and that shall not change. Congratulations to Bill Belicheck, VUSB's Inaugural Hoser of the Week.
Except for an obvious disparity in clothing choices, the character Sack in Wedding Crashers is based directly on Bill Belichek. Think about it for a second, then pop in the movie.
Flip: You're the Sack (insert Bill Belichek), she'll come to you.
Sack (insert Bill Belichek): You're right, she will.
J.B., M.D. is dead-on in his analysis of the inspiration for the character "Sack." One thing you overlooked, however, is the fact that Sack's nickname, "the Sackmaster," is a derivative of Coach Belichick's nickname, "the Chickmaster."
With a name like that, who can blame the man for his adulterous exploits?
