Hoser of the Week: Sean Salisbury...

First off, apologies to VSL Readers, the Hoser of the Week was posted late. This will serve not only as our Hoser of the Week for last week, but also as a forum for this week's nominees.

Sorry to J.B., M.D., and all others lobbying for D.B.'s classification as a hoser, but it's not in the cards this week. It's still possible the younger Palmer has a few tricks up his sleeve, and until we see this season develop a little further, we are not quite ready to levy this dubious distinction on Mr. Woodside.

Sean Salisbury, on the other hand, is very much deserving. Not only did Salisbury expose himself to female ESPN employees via camera phone, but also described Peyton Manning's 2nd half drives as "[Jewing] It" down the field. While Salisbury contends he said "chew," it sounds a little suspect once you listen to the audio. You be the judge, but to us, Sean Salisbury is definitely the Hoser of the Week.

Good try Salisbury, but I don't know anyone who utilizes the "j" sound with a "ch"

How do I explain this egregious snub to my extensive readership?

He wasn't saying, 'Jew,' he was saying, 'Mooovers.'

I nominate the voters of the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. Not only was Vanderbilt and Stanford snubbed after both having fantastic weeks, but Georgia did not receive ANY votes. If the coaches aren't going to take this seriously, they shouldn't vote. Texas should not be in and Kentucky and Notre Dame should not have moved up.

The ESPN/USA Today voters are hosers and should be recognized as such until they start taking their voting responsibilities more seriously (and by more seriously, I mean putting Vanderbilt in their Top 25).
