It's such a shame what happened to that kid. I find it impossible to imagine what it would be like to one day just drop to the ground and then be told you can never play a sport again, ever.
It's even more unreal that he had no symptoms of heart disease prior to that event. And that his parents don't have any problems.
But a testament to this kid is his dedication to his education and to the team as well. That would be a hard situation for anyone, and I think he's really showing his character through his actions.
