And Then There Were Two: Kiel Narrows List to Notre Dame and Vanderbilt

Here's the story from Saturday Down South. Here's the good stuff:
Now, the mere fact that Kiel is looking really hard at Vanderbilt is a testament to what James Franklin is doing with this program. There is buzz; there is hype; there is a sense that Franklin could do the unthinkable and make Vanderbilt a competitor year after year in the SEC East. Sure, there’s plenty of work to be done to get to that level, but a Gunner Kiel commitment would be a great building block to get to that point.

If Kiel were to choose the Commodores – most think the Irish are the team to beat – it would create instant buzz, not only in the South, but the rest of the country as well. Kiel taking snaps under center and handing the football off to Brian Kimbrow – Vanderbilt’s top recruit – for four years sounds very good right now to all Commodores fans.

Pray to any idol that you deem worthy to make this happen. Pray like you have never prayed before.
