Frankly, this might not seem all that bold of a prediction. With the way this team has played against the likes of Georgia, Arkansas, and Florida, who could really be skeptical about our chances against Kentucky (4-5, 1-4) at home? Wake Forest (5-4, 4-2) in Winston-Salem will be a challenge for sure, but there we're talking about a team that struggles to run the ball and has lost 3 of its last 4 games (against lighter competition than we've faced), with the one win along that stretch coming by a single point against Duke.
Then, of course, there's the Vomit Orange. Does Vanderbilt stand a chance against Derek Dooley's squad in Neyland? Our response: "book it." Tennessee ranks #118 in the nation (that's third-to-last, mind you) in rushing offense. Vanderbilt currently ranks 30th in total defense and boasts the SEC's #1 offense in terms of big-play production. Beyond the numbers, we believe Franklin's guys are going to respond to the recent disappointments by coming out with a fire that wills this team to a 7-5 record and berth in the Liberty, Compass, or Music City Bowl. Why? Because we believe it.

Love the enthusiasm from the brain trust. Well said! If our boys continue to play with intensity and aggressiveness that we've show against UGA, ARK, and the second half of the Gator game then there's no reason to believe we can't pull off the sweep. Go 'Dores ... Anchor Down!!!!!!!
I'm hoping the table-running campaign gets off a week late, but obviously the Dores have a great chance to do the job starting this weekend.
Kentucky was absolutely terrible going into the bye week after getting destroyed by South Carolina. I didn't think they'd beat Jacksonville State, honestly. Enter Max Smith in the second half of the Mississippi State game. Since Smith has started playing in place of Morgan Newton, Kentucky has almost developed some semblance of an offense. No, they're not as good a Arkansas or Florida, obviously. The Dores D may prove that Ole Miss's defense has a lot in common with wet paper bags. But I do think Kentucky's improving when they have the ball.
It really should be one of the better UK/Vandy games in recent memory on Saturday. Historically, this is always kind of a weird game and neither team plays particularly well offensively. I'm hoping that changes. Jordan Rodgers is a breath of fresh air that the Dores offense really needed, just like Max Smith has been thus far for Kentucky.
