Week 2 Wrap Up: Vanderbit Gains Major Football Commitment, VSL Nation Fantasy Football League in Full Swing

With the Commodores on a 2-0 swing, things are looking up for VSL Nation. The excitement surrounding the program is becoming contagious, as proven by the committment of Rivals 4-star Wide Receiver Andre McDonald from Minnetonka, Minnesota (insert Prince Chappelle show joke here). Josh Grady continues to be the greatest fodder ever on twitter for all things recruiting at Vandy, so I highly recommend that you check him out @JStat7.

Additionally, Alex Poythress was on campus this past weekend. The 'Dores are competing against the likes of Duke, UK, Memphis, and Florida, so this will (hopefully) be a race to the finish that may extend into the spring. He's scheduled to attend Big Blue Madness, which does not bode well in our favor.

Jon Rothstein interviewed Kevin Stallings this past week about the upcoming season. The interview was released over his twitter account, but Anchor of Gold has a great summation of it with very poignant comments about the responses. Let it be known that KingJamesIV and I have the same mindset about his comments.

Finally, the VSL Nation fantasy football league kicked off week 1 this past week. Bobby O'Shea was the high point scorer at 139 thanks to the efforts of WES WELKAH last night. Low point score goes to "Old N Fat", who managed to accomplish that feat despite having Aaron Rodgers. I know I know, my boy Roddy White certainly didn't help.
