Alex Poythress is the Key to the 2012 Recruit Class
Not sure if this article makes me feel better or worse about the Black and Gold's chances with Poythress. On the one hand big names like Kentucky, UConn and Duke scare the $#!+ out of me as I don't think we can win recruiting battles against them individually. However, and I know its the Tennessean mentioning it, but he is a local kid, they mention Kedren Johnson and John Jenkins, two local guys who came to Vandy and they mention how CKS and his staff have been recruiting him for the longest amount of time (along with Memphis and Florida). Anyway, nothing to do but sit, watch and hope.

Lynchpin of the class. CKS is working hard.
We're gonnna get him. I feel it. Final 4 this year solidifies it.
Yea we gotta start getting it done in the tourni to really impress recruits. Hopefully this is the year we dont get bumped in the first/ second round.
The problem is Poythress is most likely going to commit and sign in the early signing period meaning all this will be decided long before any tourney stuff has even happened.
Then someone needs to send Steve T. up I-24 to meet him ASAP. That man could genuinely charm the pants off just about anyone.
when will they announce this season's schedule? gotta be soon isn't it?
