Thanks for a Great Season

Vanderbilt came up short to the Gators, but it's hard to view this season as anything but a success. While the team didn't achieve their ultimate goal, it was a tremendous year for Coach Tim Corbin and his Vanderbilt Commodore Baseball team. We'll have more covereage on VSL later tonight and this weekend, in the meantime, let us know what you thought about the season and where you think this team is headed.

It's a proud day to be a Vanderbilt Commodore. Our guys came into this tournament with the heavy weight of prior disappointing postseasons squarely on their shoulders, fought their way to the Final Four, and bowed out only after an intensely close battle against an outstanding Florida Gators team. I repeat: FINAL FOUR...VANDERBILT. Same sentence. Don't let the disappointment of today's loss diminish the significance of that achievement.

Thanks to the seniors, thanks to Coach, congrats to the team on a banner year, and Go Dores.

Agreed Seamus and VandyPhile. Thanks to the VSL Brain Trust for ramping up the coverage.

Chuck, I think you're onto something. I'll be here or, preferably, in the stadium.

Feels good to be gold, and good things are on the horizon.
