Something to Be Proud Of

The release of the NCAA's latest Academic Progress Rate scores, which measure the academic performance of student-athletes, show Vanderbilt far outpacing the SEC and placing 10 athletic programs (football and baseball among them) in the top 10% of all Division I teams in their respective sports.  Congrats to all the teams that received this year's "academic overachiever" distinction.

Very proud but lets talk a little basketball...

Has anyone started to piece our schedule together?

We are playing and have home court advantage in the Legends Classic which features Texas, NC State, and Oregon.

Next, the schedule for the SEC/ Big East Challenge was released today and we are playing at Louisville (!!!)

We also have a game @ Marquette.

I’m so excited for next year.

Slow day at work, but across the boards, most analyst are picking the Vandy Louisville game as "the game" in the SEC BIG EAST Challenge...

VSL Roadtrip needs to occur.

I’m there. Out matchup with Louisville is “the game” in this challenge. Vandy basketball is getting some major publicity heading into next season… this is awesome.

Nothing like Louisville on a Friday night. It's like...nothing.

Except maybe a Thursday night in Cincinnati.

Only if Shan Foster promises to play us a lullaby.
