No One Can Accuse CJF of Lacking Energy or Optimism

Chris Low has a great post on the attitude that Coach Franklin has brought to the Vanderbilt head coaching position, which he describes (surprise, surprise) as "maybe the toughest job in all of college football."  Here's what All-SEC LB Chris Marve had to say about his new coach:
"There’s an energy about him, an enthusiasm and the kind of charisma this program hasn’t had. The guys on this team responded, too, because nobody wants to go back to where we’ve been the last two years.”
Low also interviewed Larry Smith, who had similarly positive things to say about the coaching staff and the prospects for a turnaround this season.  He also offered some candid remarks about what he needs to improve on personally -- namely, "everything."  Good stuff.

he's making students shut down their tailgates half an hour before the games start, so everybody hates him haha

Yeah apparently he had nothing to do with that. So he says anyway.

Coach Franklin had nothing to do with the decision to close down the festivities on Greek Row. Even if he did, in my opinion, the students (surprise, surprise) have made a mountain out of a molehill.

I assume the Vandyville scene remains untouched by this policy?

Not only is it untouched, supposedly they're looking to beef it up.
