Commodores Sweep LSU; 3 Way Tie for 1st in the SEC East

The Commodores now find themselves tied with South Carolina (who took 2 out of 3 in Starkville), and the Gators (who swept the Crimson Tide) at 14-4. The Commodores, who controlled LSU for the entire weekend, struggled to get outs in the 7th inning of Sunday's game. This was the second Sunday in a row where the Commodore bullpen put the game in jeopardy. Fortunately, unlike last weekend in Columbia, Coach Corbin's squad was ultimately able to get the win.

The Commodores will travel to Bowling Green to take on Western Kentucky Wednesday, before hosting Tennessee for a 3-game set next weekend. Tickets for that series are already on-sale, while individual game tickets for Vanderbilt's final home series against the #4 Gators February 13-15 go on sale tomorrow.
