Vanderbilt Baseball Opens SEC Schedule Against Mississippi State at Hawkins Field

If you're like me, watching the NCAA Tournament doesn't have the same appeal it did a few days ago. Not to worry, now is a great time to get yourself on the Vanderbilt Baseball bandwagon. The Commodores (17-1), ranked no worse than 3rd in any of the major college baseball polls, open SEC play tonight at Hawins Field for a 3 game set against Mississippi State (14-4). Coach Corbin will send Commodore ace Sonny Gray to the hill tonight (4-0, 1.71 ERA) against Devin Jones (2-2, 1.37). For a good primer check out VUCommodores.com or the Game Notes for the series. Vanderbilt will also play tomorrow at 2 and Sunday at 1.

Hope to see some of y'all at the ballpark.

That's the spirit: Chin up, stiff upper lip, let's support the baseball team. Well done.

Nice to have a team to deliver. Forgot how that felt.

You guys need to do something on our women's hoops program that has really fallen...they got hammered in the first round today in what should have been a very even match-up.
