SEC Coaches Awards Announced
Vanderbilt's John Jenkins came up short in his quest to be SEC Player of the Year, losing out to Florida's Chandler Parsons, however the Commodore sharpshooter did earn 1st Team All-SEC Honors. Jeffery Taylor and Festus Ezeli made 2nd Team All-SEC, and Taylor was also named to the All-SEC Defensive Team. Here are the complete results. The Media's awards will be announced later this week.

Chandler Parsons had a better performance this year than John Jekins. Righttttttt.
Fes was named the most imporved player in college basketball this season by Yahoo Sports
Well, Jenkins got SEC player of the year by the always tan Gary Parrish...so that's something.
