It's Official: King Rice to Monmouth

Monmouth is getting a good one with their new head coach.  King Rice spent five years as an assistant at Vanderbilt, and the Commodores made the NCAA Tournament four out of those five years.  Rice was instrumental in helping put together arguably the best recruiting run in Vanderbilt history.  There was no doubt Rice was going to be a college head coach some day, it was just a question of when.  Best of luck to him from VSL Nation.

Congrats to Rice. He will be a great head coach. It will be hard to replace him, but I think CKS is a very respected man and wont have to go look for a replacement... they will come to him.

Also, this Purdue thing is getting interesting. I think Purdue CMP is just trying to get more money from them. However, if he does leave Purdue for Missouri, do you think are the chances of Stallings headed north?
