VSL Gets You Ready: Vanderbilt Hosts Kentucky at Memorial

Another huge game, another sub-par preview from VSL. It worked Thursday, so we're going to try it again.

Couple Notes from Bobby:
- Like Alabama, Kentucky isn't deep. While Seth Davis argues a team that only plays 6 can win, there is no doubt that this could affect the Wildcats today and going forward.
- 70 Points: In SEC play, Kentucky is 3-1 when scoring 70 points or more; conversely, John Calipari's NCAAU squad is 0-3 when their opponents eclipse the 70 point mark. Vanderbilt is 16-4 when scoring 70+ points.
- Not Good in Close Games: The Wildcats are 0-3 in conference play in games decided by 5 points or less. Vanderbilt is not much better. The Commodores are just 2-4 in games decided by 5 or less, and 1-2 in the SEC in close contests. Vanderbilt has never won a game this season when trailing with 2 minutes left (0-3).
- The 1st Half Matters: Kentucky is 5-1 in the SEC, 16-2 overall when they are leading at the half. Calipari's team is 0-3 in SEC play, and 1-4 overall when trailing at intermission. Vanderbilt is 12-2 when leading at the half, but just 5-4 when they're behind after 20 minutes.

Prediction:

Vanderbilt 74 - Kentucky 69

Don't forget, if you're going to the game, wear black.
