Vanderbilt Beats Miss St 81-74

Jeff Taylor comes up huge with a steal and slam on the full-court press when MSU had one last shot. Festus plays inspired basketball down the stretch. The Dores get aggressive in the second half, crash the boards, get to the line, get MSU in foul trouble, and give CKS his first win ever at The Hump.

Great road win tonight. Post your thoughts.

So everything I said earlier in the week about Jeff? Forget it. Forget it all. He was an absolute beast in the second half! 6-8 with the game clinching steal and slam. SOooo pumped right now!!!

Conquer and Prevail!!!

Big time players make big time plays in big time games.

That was what SEC conference play was all about. Just what JT needed. Booya kasha. Fois grais.

It's called poise - do that in the other games we win most of them. Good win!

Getting healthy. Getting swagger. Getting road wins. I think we might just be getting there.

We have got to start getting John a liitle more consistent....he was not playing at the level he is capable of.

Great win. Seemed to struggle getting the ball downlow in 1st half. Definitely had better energy in 2nd. Nice all round play.

Taylor took over a game and Stallings won in Starkville... FINALLY! Great night for the Dores

Heard the word press used when talking about our win tonight.Am I missing something our is that the first time we have ever done that. And is that the reason we won an SEC game on the road? Didn't see the game so, interested to hear comments.

Yes, the press worked for a couple of turn overs and to slow their offense even when they did get shots off. On the radio after the game, Stallings said it was the key coaching decision.

did not expect to see 8-29 from long range in the box score. didn't it feel like we were draining em?

great game for the most part, but Stevie Thunder has got to be hurting pretty bad, he hasn't played that poorly in 2 years.

just give me one game where everybody shows up for 40 minutes...and please let that be in Rupp.

keep those elbows down big Fez!
