Commodores Crack AP Top 25; Still Just "Receiving Votes" in Coaches Poll

Hat-tip to the Big Guy (a.k.a. JB, MD) for sending the info into the newsroom. The Commodores are ranked #24 in the AP, and 30th by the Coaches.

The Commodores will take on Marquette Wednesday at Memorial. We'll have a preview up tomorrow or Wednesday for that game.

Did we lose a football recruit?

Im pumped we are ranked. Im tired of us saying we do best when we are under the radar. I want us to be a top ten ranked team and believe this is the team to do it. Go Dores.

HUGE game against Marquette tomorrow night. Hopefully VSL provides a legitimate preview of the game.

Perhaps we "misplaced" a football recruit, first anonymous... but none of the three recruit sites (scout, rivals, espn) I've checked have any news of us losing one.

We went from 14 verbals to 13. Apparently we "misplaced" Alex Barr onto NC State's verbal commitments. Found it on ESPN's recruiting section under "on the trail."

As for the ranking, it's nice to get recognition, but I'd rather see us reach the sweet 16 or better than get ranked.
