I think the defense has played well and, with the exception of 3rd down conversions, I'm pretty happy with the way the offense has looked. Larry looks poised in the pocket, and the offense is clearly willing to mix it up as far as whether to pass or run. Still, Commodores need to score points...and fast.
The one thing I would add to that is I think Larry could do a little bit better of a job selling his fakes. His fakes look a little contrived, kind of like a high school QB. But one step at a time I guess - and I agree, he seems poised in the pocket.
That was the worst possession we've seen since the start of the game. It looks like the defense is going to have to make a play to spark the team.
...and right on cue, we let them get outside the tackles and into the red zone on a huge run.
We may now have a serious problem...

UCONN took a 14-0 lead last week over Buffalo, before letting them back in the game.
The "spark" we were looking for might have come from Stormin' Norman.

UCONN tried to get it back right away and Casey makes a very good plan. Commodores need to move the chains here.
Getting 4-5 yards on first down makes all the difference in the world. Another first down...the complexion of this game has completely changed. Need to keep the momentum going and keep spreading it around. It's a shame they are reviewing that because it would be nice to keep moving quickly and wear down the Huskies D.
