Vandy Lands Not 1 but 2 New Verbals!!!!

So kinda slow afternoon at work and I troll over to Vandysports.com and see YES the Commies have in fact gotten another verbal for the 2011 recruiting class. This one being Florida running back Mitchell Hester. But when I went to go get some info on the new guy I see what???? Vandy got a verbal from another guy a couple days ago and I didn't even notice? DAMN YOU REAL JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The second guy (or first guy chronologically speaking) is Cordova, Tenn OL prospect Spencer Pulley. Here is the info on the two new guys:

1) Mitchell Hester - 5'10, 180 (RB) - Hester is a super-fast RB prospect from the ever talent rich state of Florida. Hester also has very solid bloodlines (his dad Ron Hester played for 2 teams I absolutely despise in Florida State and the Miami Dolphins, and his cousin is none other than Devin Hester of Chicago Bears fame). Hester apparently ran for over 1,900 yards last season and already has 300 yards rushing to his name this one. Oh and he apparently runs the 40 in sub 4.4. Here is another article about his commitment (http://jacksonville.com/sports/high-schools/2010-09-16/story/high-school-notebook-fletcher-rb-mitchell-hester-commits). Hester is a 2 star recruit according to Rivals but is a 3-star one on ESPN.com and is rated as a 75 overall (and the 101st rated RB in the country).

2) Spencer Pulley - 6'5, 277 (OL) - Good ole Spence is a 3-star prospect according to Rivals. ESPN has him as a 2-star guy and a 74 rating overall (129th rated OT prospect). Pulley is the 3rd offensive linemen verbal commitment for the Commies.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!
