Breaking News: Bobby Johnson Stepping Down as Vanderbilt's Head Football Coach

Anchor of Gold and others across the Twitterverse are reporting that Bobby Johnson is stepping down as Vanderbilt's Head Football Coach. 104.5 The Zone's George Plaster broke the story. No reason has been given for his departure but a press release is expected soon.

This comes as a complete shock to VSLNation, but we will be all over this story (bar studying be damned).

I have to assume that is health related or something else serious since this seems so sudden and at an odd point in the Football calendar.

Wonder who will be named the interim head coach. No matter what this isn't good for the program.

This had better be a joke concocted by the thinktank genius minds over at GoVolsXtra.
