Nothing like some Varsity Blues to get you going, VSLNation.
Vanderbilt starts their march to Omaha today at 1pm central in Louisville against Illinios State. VSL will be hosting a live-blog on this very site. Seeing as how a) most of you are at work b) the game isn't on television, and c) I'll be tracking the game online and listening to The Voice, Joe Fisher, there's no reason for you not to join in.
For a great primer, check out Baseball America's Aaron Fitt previewing the Louisville Regional.
The Nashville City Paper's David Boclair looks at the developing rivalry between the Commodores and the Cardinals. The Tennessean's Jeff Lockridge writes about Aaron Westlake getting his grove back. Jeff double dips and writes about the head-games being played in the Regional, specifically, Corbin's (relatively easy, if you ask me) decision to start Taylor Hill in today's opening round game. As well, you can follow all the action on VUCommodores' Baseball Tournament Blog.
Hope to see y'all at 1 central for the live-blog.
