The Commodores are headed to Kentucky, hosted by #7 Louisville, where they will face Illinois State, a team they beat 9-2 in the Music City Classic. VUCommodores.com has a primer, but the early chatter is who will start in Vanderbilt's first game. The Commodores, whose first pitch is slated to be at 1pm central, would be well-advised, in my opinion to start Taylor Hill. Hill has been the team's Saturday starter, and did a fantastic job keeping Illinois State at bay, giving up just 2 earned runs in 7 1/3 innings when the two teams met in early March.
