Post Game Thread: South Carolina Knocks Off Vandy In Nashville

Tough loss for the 'Dores. Obviously in, and still in good shape with an SEC Tournament bye, but need to get some rest, need to hit the gym for practice, and need to realize that no matter how well you were playing before, the only thing that matters is how you play in the present.

Huge bummer

Those last 10 minutes were probably the worst I've seen this team play all year. Downey is a great player and carried SC in the second half, but to me the biggest momentum changer was when AJ tried to finesse an uncontested layup from point blank range. He played pretty well in the first half, but that is the epitome of why everyone hates him at this point. You're 6'11''! Dunk the freaking ball!

Wish Beal didn't have to have that as his last game at Memorial. For those who were there, how was the senior ceremony after the game? Pretty somber and subdued I would expect...

They deserved the "L". When you're leading a team by double-digits at home, you have to finish them off. Perhaps the moment that captured the entire game was in the 2nd half when AJ got the ball inside, and had the choice to either slam it home or lay it up, and elected to take a jump shot that hit the back of the iron and rolled off into the waiting hands of a USC player.

Really missed those 2 pts. in the end.

Very upsetting loss...I'm just going to hope that it gives us more passion to win the SEC Tourney

There was a stretch in the 2nd half where the way our guys played sucked as bad as american idol. Almost.

senior day was sad. sooooo many people left and didn't even observe it which really hurt i think. i was sad to see that.

but those that did stay gave beal a great ovation even tho we had an L. this is not the time to start playing like this.....

SC gave us Downey Syndrome.

Too bad the game fell on the first weekend of spring break. I'm sure a lot of students were not there.
