Everyone signed that they wanted w/ the NOTABLE exception of Jerrell Priester (athlete) out of South Carolina. He had been a soft verbal to us for a while and I think a big reason he switched was he was not going to be academically eligible right away. He was going to have to go to a post-grad program or something. He is a great athlete so it hurts but what can you do. Overall this is a very solid class.
Academic issues? I thought that didn't matter to us anymore.
This isn't the VBK/Ron Mercer days when VU would turn down an athlete due to grades/test scores.
