This was the perfect storm, folks. We looked exhausted from the first minute of play, were always a step behind on D, and had all but 2 of our guys completely forget how to shoot the ball. Beal and Tinsley got NO help from anywhere as AJ played like a little girl again, Taylor looked disoriented except for a handful of plays, Walker seemed constantly out of position on defense, and Jenkins went 0 for 9 from the field. Add to that some of the most one-sided officiating you can imagine, and it doesn't matter how many times Georgia turns the ball over, we're going to lose. Congrats to Jermaine and Brad for at least looking like they wanted it.

I guess I'll limit my comments to AJ. At this point, there really is no explanation for the lack of intensity on his part. Last year we could attribute it to the injury. Early this season, we could point to the concussion he sustained as the reason his game was off. I really am at an utter loss to understand what his deal is. Can anyone else think of another big man on a team in a major conf. who has disappeared to the degree he has? It's not just the lack of scoring, but the really bad ball handling and overall defeatist attitude that he can exhibit. It was bad when he didn't show up until the 2nd half. This will be 3 straight games where he really didn't show up at all.

Sources say AJ is holding out until Kev spends another $100K AUD to fund Kumbaya part deux to his motherland to pick up some timtams.

At this point, might as well just keep Festus in the whole game and speed up his development for next year. And the John and Jeff show needs a commercial break.
