According to the Miami-Hearld Miami area Defensive back Steven Clarke has committed to Vandy. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/hssports/
Rivals lists Clarke as a 2-star athlete (not yet rated by ESPN). He apparently has some real speed so that's always a plus. Really like the fact that we are getting a kid from the Miami area. South Florida is probably the most talented football area in the country so getting athletes from down there is a real nice development.

1) First is the a quick synopsis of SEC East recruiting. As usual half of the time talking about Vandy is spent saying "its tough to recruit at Vanderbilt" but whatever.

2) The second one lays out what our "Recruiting Needs" are for this year. If we are able to get all our commitments to sign then I think we will have def addressed our Wide Receiver and Secondary needs. We also have addressed our OL needs with 4 offensive linemen currently committed. However the problem is that all 4 appear to be a little light in the bridges (spelling?). I have complete confidence in the coaching staff to get these guys the size they need but its going to take time so the chance of any of these guys contributing right away is small.
