VandyGold28 was absolutely correct in the earlier post. These players will return to the team by the start of conf. play (i.e., they will have at most a 1-2 game suspension). When TN comes to Memorial, would love it if the person in control of the audio would play something from Method Man, preferably "Because I got high".
Wasn't everyone talking about Tyler Smith being the team leader? Shouldn't that apply off the court as well?
Also, the self-defense excuse to carrying a firearm wears a little thin when there are multiple firearms, one which had it's registration number altered.

I disagree about the 1-2 game suspension. This is not a slap on the wrist offense for at least two of these players (the ones viewed to have the guns). They're facing time... and the one with the serial number altered... well he's proper fucked. Once the cops are able to make the two who didn't have guns talk about the two that did, you should see a reduced suspension for them, and the other two will be kicked off the team. Much like the UT football robbery nonsense earlier, the ones found culpable will be cut (and possibly jailed) and the ones who cut a deal will be back on the team no questions asked.

My friend commented to me today that initial reports on the altered gun, referenced it as a felony, but now all the reporting is that it is a misdemeanor. I am not a lawyer (not even on TV!), but we strongly suspect that there is no way this is not a felony (except in Knoxville to UT athletes).
